MIMMTI handles your data with care. In this privacy statement you can read which data we collect, why, who we share it with and which rights you have.

Who are we?

MIMMTI is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

Which data do we collect?

• Order data: name, address, email address, phone number, what you order and how you pay. We do not see your full payment details; the payment provider processes them.
• Account and contact: data you enter for a customer account, a question to customer service or a return.
• Newsletter and downloads: your email address and, if you fill it in, who you are shopping for (for example pregnant or a baby). Also when you request the free Birth Pack or another download.
• Reviews: your name, rating, text and any photos if you write a review.
• Website use: through cookies and similar techniques: which pages you view, what you add to your cart, your device, browser and (approximate) location.

Why do we use your data?

• To process and ship your order and to handle returns and warranty (performance of the contract).
• To answer your questions (performance of the contract or legitimate interest).
• To keep our records, as the law requires us to (legal obligation).
• To send you our newsletter and emails, such as tips after your purchase or a reminder about your cart (consent, or for customers our legitimate interest). You can always unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of every email.
• To improve our website and to show and measure advertisements (legitimate interest).

Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties we need to make our shop work:

• Shopify (webshop and checkout) and payment providers such as Shopify Payments, Klarna and PayPal;
• our warehouse and the carriers (PostNL, DHL, FedEx), to ship your parcel;
• Returnless, for handling returns;
• Klaviyo, for sending emails;
• Filemonk, for delivering digital products;
• Loox, for collecting and showing reviews;
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Google, for showing and measuring advertisements;
• our accountant and government bodies if the law requires it.

We make agreements with these parties about the security of your data. Some parties are located outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). In that case we use the safeguards that the law prescribes, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

We use functional cookies that are needed to make the shop work (such as your cart). In addition, we use cookies and similar techniques from Google, Meta and TikTok to measure how our website and advertisements perform and to show you relevant advertisements. You can always refuse or delete cookies via your browser settings.

How long do we keep your data?

• Order and invoice data: 7 years, because tax law requires it.
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
• Customer service conversations: up to 2 years after the last contact.
• Cookie data: up to 2 years at most, or shorter if you delete it yourself.

Your rights

You may view, correct or delete your data. You can object to its use, restrict its use, have your data transferred and withdraw consent you have given. Email info@mimmti.com for this. We respond within a month.

Are you not satisfied with how we handle your data? Let us know first and we will resolve it together. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data, such as a secure connection (SSL) and limited access to data.
